Border
The decorative edge running along both sides of the saree. Width and zari density determine value.
Body
The main fabric area of the saree. The zari work (plain, butta, or oosi) affects the price.
Stole (Pallu)
The decorative end piece of the saree. Usually has the most elaborate zari work and highest value.

Jacquard Saree (₹20,000 - ₹60,000)
Jacquard sarees feature intricate woven patterns in both border and body. The zari content in Jacquard sarees typically has a moderate silver-to-copper ratio.

Full Gold Saree (₹60,000 - ₹1,20,000)
Full Gold sarees have extensive gold and silver zari throughout the entire saree. These are the most valuable category with the highest precious metal content.
The border is one of the key factors in determining a saree's value. Wider and more intricate borders mean more zari content and higher value.
